Heren 5 architects is now called SOME architects
In the more than thirty years that heren 5 has existed, we have specialised in architecture with a social character. And while the five gentlemen who founded the firm have moved on, we have continued to develop. Today we are a lively, experienced and multinational team of twenty-five professionals to create space for life. And we do this together. That’s why, from today, our firm is no longer called heren 5 architecten, but SOME architects. This better reflects who we are and how we work.
SOME architects – design space for life
Our new name, SOME, stands for Social Method – our community driven approach we apply to every project we work on. With this method, we combine our inquisitive, open mindset with close collaboration and a great deal of creativity. This allows us to create architecture that connects people. With each other, the location, and the world we live in.

Our new identity also includes a new website: some.eu. And even a new office! And the people? Thankfully, they’ve stayed the same. You can contact us at some.eu/team. Or just drop by for a cup of coffee. Same street, same building. Just a different house number.
